No matter what their ability or how shy they are, every child or young person should have the opportunity to gain more confidence and self esteem. This is our primary aim. Alongside this we will work with each student to help them realise their full potential as a performer. Whilst each group has an age range, there is a degree of flexibility as we consider not only group dynamic but each individual within the group. In short, we want our students to feel confident and happy!
We can als0 provide support and tuition for students wishing to enter for LAMDA examinations.
In addition to this we aim to offer termly workshops in specialised performance skils, whether it be Juggling, Shakespeare, Commedia de l'Arte, Mime Skills or any other aspect of performing arts.

'Peaseblossom' 4-5 yrs.

'Mustardseed' 6-7 yrs.

One hour duration.

At this age the focus is on learning through play and having lots of fun! We aim to encourage their creativity and build their confidence through drama games, role play, musicality, songs and movement. Mustardseed are a little more challenged so they can make the transition more easily into the older group when they reach 8yrs.

Ages 8-10 / Yrs 3-5  10am-1pm

Group: 'Prospero'

Three hours of Acting, Singing and Dancing.

The main focus is on building their social skills and self esteem whilst tapping into their imaginations and creativity. We aim for classes to be exciting and educational with students encouraged to work together as a whole, to share their imaginations and build on their ideas by discussion and improvisation. Streetdance classes will not only build their fitness but increase their 'repertoire'. Group singing will help create a sense of unity and a 'company' feel - though there is scope for solo work too!

Ages 10-11 / Year 6/7    10am-1pm

Three hours of Acting, Singing and Dancing.

We aim to provide excellent grounding in Theatrical Arts and encourage students to develop strong performance skills.  There is a term in the profession of the 'Triple Threat' which refers to performers highly skilled in Acting, Singing and Dancing - our wish is for our students to be just that.

Ages 11+ / Year 7+  10am-1pm

Three hours of Acting, Singing and Dancing.

The work intensifies at this level, in a similar vein to 'Pericles' but with a more thorough and detailed approach, integrating many technical lessons that really hone their performance and life skills.  If a student is applying to University or Drama School and needs to select and work on an audition piece, we can guide them through this process.
